How to Turn On or Off Enhanced Audio in Windows 11

This article shows how to turn on or off Enhanced Audio in Windows 11. If you are a new user and want to enable or disable enhanced audio in your windows 11 system for better sound quality then this article is useful and handy for you.

By default, Enhanced Audio feature is disabled in Windows 11. If you want to try it to automatically improve sound quality, simply follow the below steps to learn how to enable or disable this new feature. If this feature doesn’t works for your system, disable it.

New Microsoft Windows 11 is a major release of the Windows NT operating system developed by Microsoft Windows. It is the successor to Windows 10 and it’s expected to be released later this year.

When you are ready, follow the steps below to enable or disable Enhanced Audio feature in your Windows 11 system:


How to Enable Enhanced Audio in Windows 11

To enable Enhanced Audio , first click on the start menu and open the system Settings as shown in the image below:

You can also use the Windows key + i shortcut keys to get to System Settings.

On the Windows Settings page, click on the System and then select Sound option from the right pane of your Windows screen:

On the Sound settings, click on All sound devices option as as shown in the image below:

In All sound devices page, select Speakers option:

From the Speakers settings, toggle the button and set it to the On to enable Enhanced audio as shown in the image below:

To enable additional features, select Advanced option under the Enhanced audio as shown in the image below:

When you click on Advanced, it will display Speakers Properties as shown below:

When all settings are enabled, click on the Apply button to apply the change and exit.


How to Disable Enhanced Audio in Windows 11

If the above settings didn’t works for your system or didn’t improve sound quality, you can disable it by reverse the steps above, simply go to the  Start menu –> Settings –> Sound –> All sound devices –> Speakers and then toggle the button and set it to the Off to disable Enhanced audio as shown in the image below:
