Login to Windows 11 without password

Simply follow steps below to get started with login to Windows 11 without passwords:

Step 1 : Enable Passwordless login

Passwordless login not provided in Windows 11, it has been removed. If you want to login without password then you will need to enable the Passwordless login option by help of the steps below:

First of all, search for the  regedit from the search box and select Registry Editor as shown in image below:

You can also open Registry Editor using shortcut keys. Use Windows key + R to launch the Run dialog box and type regedit and click OK button:

When the registry editor opens, copy and paste the below path into the address field at the top and browse it:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device

After that, double-click on the key named DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion and set the Value data 0 and click on OK button to close as shown in image below:

Step 2 : Disable password login

After enabled passwordless login, launch Run dialog box again using the Windows key + R shortcut keys and type netplwiz and click OK button:

When it opens, select the user you want to login without password and uncheck the box labeled as Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer and click on the the Apply button:

When you click on Apply button, Windows will ask you to type the user account credentials entered when the account was created.

So type the username and confirm the password, then select OK button to apply changes.

Step 3 : Restart Windows

After made all the changes, restart your computer and you will see that Windows allows you to login without typing password.
