How to Create and Use Sticky Notes in Windows 11
To open the Sticky Notes app, click on the Start menu and search for Sticky Notes. From search result, click on the Sticky Notes app to open it as shown in the image below:
When you launch sticky notes for the first time, a sign in pop-up window will open which gives you an option to sign in with your Microsoft account. If you want to use this app without signing in process, then simply exit the sign in pop-up screen.
After exit sign in window, you will get sticky note window with sticky notes hub where all your created notes are saved as shown in the image below:
How to Add New Sticky Notes
To create a new note, click the “+” sign as shown below:
How to change Sticky Notes Color
To change the color of a current note, click the on “…” menu icon:
After that, select a color according your choice as shown below:
You can also delete a note from that menu. Just click on Delete note button to delete a note as shown in the image below:
How to Change Sticky Notes Theme Color to Light or Dark Mode
Sticky notes application also allows you to change its color theme to Light or Dark mode. To do that, click on the Settings option(Gear icon) as shown below:
After that, select color theme according your choice as show in the image below:
How to Delete a Sticky Note
In the sticky note application, there are two ways to delete notes. You can delete notes from sticky notes hub where all your created notes are saved or directly delete a currently opened note.
How to show or hide all notes in Windows 11
If you are working on too many notes on your screen and want to hide or unhide them, then simply right-click on the Sticky Notes icon from the Taskbar, then click on Show or hide all notes options as shown below:
