How to Automatically Turn Off Wi-Fi when Connected to Ethernet on Windows 11

How to Enable “disable upon wired connect” in Windows 11

To enable it , first click on the start menu and open the system Settings as shown in the image below:

You can also use the Windows key + i shortcut keys to get to System Settings.

On the Windows Settings page, click on the Network & internet and then select Advanced network settings as shown in the image below:

From the Advanced network settings page, select More network adapter options:

When you select More network adapter options, it will open the Network Connections in the control panel.

On the Network Connections page, right-click on the Wi-Fi option and select Properties as shown in the image below:

Next, click on the Configure from the Properties pane as shown below:

Next, scroll down and select Disable Upon Wired Connect and change the value to Enabled as shown in the image below:

And click on OK button to save your changes.
